Bio:

As a filly, Fluttershy grew up in Cloudsdale, high in the sky, where she was constantly afraid of heights and had trouble flying.  Once she traveled to the ground for the first time and found she was able to communicate with animals, she knew she had discovered her true calling.  Despite being very timid and having stage fright at the time, Fluttershy has overcome these problems over the years and has faced many foes with her friends’ help being the Element of Kindness.  She now runs her own animal sanctuary outside of Ponyville and is a member of the Ponytones Quintet, singing at various social gatherings.  She also substitutes at Twilight’s School of Friendship and brings tame animals for the students to get acquainted with.

Fluttershy has always worried that Flurry Heart was getting too close to her studies the way Twilight once did, but with Flurry now spending time in Ponyville, Fluttershy has gotten closer to her and vows to teach her the ways of kindness.
