Notes about the design/character:

-Paint Swirl was loosely inspired by G3 Rainbow Swirl.

-Her original colors were copied exactly from a picture of “Rainbow Blaze” (Bow Hothoof?), with the eyes from Soarin of course. How creative of me :P

-It was thanks to the constructive criticism of SaphyJay that I realized there was room for improvement and decided to change my design. This applies to a lot of my earlier OCs, and my later OCs were designed with this advice in mind.

-Paint and Roy were always shipped with each other and no one else.

-Paint’s character and backstory were at least partially based on myself.

-As tragic as it is, Paint’s death was really my response to a bet. One of my friends, an avid RoySwirl lover, challenged, “See if you can make me cry!” And I was like, “Challenge accepted,” and broke everyone’s hearts in the process. All of the actual deep character development stuff worked itself out from there.
