The predators are coming. It’s time for some serious training.
Super serious training.
Paprika’s projectile attack has a limited use and a long wind-up, but if you can land it, it hits hard. And even if you don’t get a hit, there’s still an upside to leaving food around — Should your opponent get careless and try to jab you with a light while standing over food, they will instead eat it, and leave themselves completely open to attack for a few moments. More than enough time for you to get them into a tight bear hug. This is especially effective against cornered opponents who will try to sneak in a snappy jab at the first opportunity and break out of their situation.
Of course, this <del>sword</del> shear <del>swings</del> shaves both ways. I’ve lost matches because I forgot I bonked buddies with bobs of broccoli before bashing the ‘a’ button like a boob.
Remember, keep an eye out for food and avoid using light attacks if any are present on the field.
