Hey! No I’m not dead, I just took a break. A very long break, to be exact. To be honest, I wasn’t happy with how my drawings were turning out, and it was slightly embarrassing to upload them because I’m very self-conscious. But goatcanon from deviantArt was wondering if commissions were still open, and if I could draw some ponies for him. At first I was apprehensive, but I said “It’s time I stop being a baby and just draw. I can’t get better without practicing”. So I did it, and here we are.

As far as this pic goes, I’m actually pretty happy with how it turned out. I tried the laying and sitting pose, which is totally out of my comfort zone, but it seemed to have worked. I also tried using different colors while shading it, and I even worked on some (kind of) realistic hair. So yeah, I’m pretty pleased with myself, but I have to thank people in my family for helping me get through this one, and pointing out some of the many flaws. There were a lot of problems I came across, but I don’t feel they’re worth mentioning. The only thing that matters is the final product, which I’m very happy with.

I don’t know if I’ll be continuing to draw, I’m currently swamped with other work and deadlines which I seem to have procrastinated to the point of no return. So unfortunately, I’m closing commissions on dA 100% now, no negotiations, until further notice. But I’ll be around, and I might open them again in the future.
