As the world was crumbling, the forces of nature made one last ditch effort to stop the growing corruption. The tree of harmony, the physical representation of all that was opposed to chaos, the ying to its yang, the keeper of order and balance, rebelled against the corruption. Its powers, that had for so long keep the everfree forest in check, and whose nature it was to be a counter weight to the harmfull tides of bedlam and dissharmony that might threathen this world.

It had once been used to banish Cosmos from this world, it’s magic among those who shatered her, and locked her in the stars.

Those very stars now proudly adored her chest. A middle finger to the forces that resist her, a show of how their magics has failed them. The locks that had kept her from this world had fallen from the heavens, and become reunited once again. Bound in the flesh of this world, she had now become part of it. And was now the ancor point that alowed her to be once more.

Those stars took the brunt force of the harmony, as its energies lashed out against her. Laughing with the sound of a thousand singed corpses as the rainbow beams burned a hole in her chest.

It tickled. For it could not banish her. Once when Cosmos was only a creature of chaos, she had been weak to the trees cleansing powers, but now she was so much more. She was the world, and every living creature in it. She was the ones who had once wielded the trees powers, its champions and protectors. And by trying to burn her away now, the tree would burn away parts of this world, And that was against its nature.
