Mel meets a few of Ophelia’s birds. Its always a learning experience when he visits her and the flock.
Ophelia, unfortunately, is prone to nightmares/night terrors at times. Shortly after they meet when Ophi moves to Ponyville, he makes her one of his best dreamcatchers yet. Ophelia loves the gift, but she won’t know until years later just how special it is (the little crystal in the middle holds an authentic piece of Princess Luna’s magic).
“Why do you wear these things? Just for the look? And why are they so blurry?”
“They’re prescription, Ophi.”
“And of course this is the pair you’d pick out.”
