A while ago I went to think over about this guy’s personality and strategy. Long story short, since Fluff Splat is a how you say “neutral” being(I think their called…sentry? remembering something from Scp I’m assuming), so in any case Fluff Splat is harmless unless provoked. So it’s very easy to provoke him, to do so involves being hostile whether it being physical or mental, the slightest little action can cause him to enter a warning mode in which case gives you a chance to change your mood and to be friendly. If failed to do so however, Fluff Splat will foam out a cotton candy mist from the mouth and were the tail is suppose to be, and Fluff Splat will then shot out the mist like the two headed dragon from how to train your dragon right into the victim’s face and as soon as you know it your surrounded by the mist. Now onto how Fluff Splat attacks, so he doesn’t exactly attack himself instead lets his victims suffer in a way. Due to Fluff Splat being one of Discord’s old creations, Fluff Splat’s cotton candy mist has some perks(other than harming the eyes). The mist has specific effects on the pony species, for earth ponies it’s hallucinations, pegasi become paranoid, stubborn and delusional, lastly the unicorns in which fear, insanity, the same effects as the earth and pegasi, along with some other fear related emotions. In the end, the victims will reach the point of mercy in which they will beg and pled for the madness to stop and Fluff Splat will show himself(still in the mist) and go in for the kill, using his lower jaw to grab the victim and use the upper jaw to silence the victim. Fluff Splat will then become neutral again and be about his way…probably chase after a butterfly. So the effects of the cotton candy mist has a major effect on the unicorns so probably has an even greater effect on alicorns(or soon to be) in which is what Celestia and Luna had to deal with before facing Discord.
