Long overdue upload, BUT I’ve made some new MLP characters, Peppermint Swirl (left) and Lemony Lime (right)! You guys voted for Pepper’s latter name, and Swirl it is

They’re mostly background characters and aren’t 100% connected to my comic, but they may make a couple appearances in the background every now and then. But don’t expect them to be main characters anytime soon

I’m very happy with their designs, especially Pepper. Though I’m not sure these are their final-final designs yet, still not 100% on Lime’s hairdo or color scheme. I’m also still unsure about both their cutiemarks. I like the motives, but I’ll probably simplify them. I’ll work on it!

Lime’s wings and tail are supposed to be parakeet-like, I’ll probably make a secondary sheet for those some day. I’m REALLY happy with Pepper’s horn being like a swirly candy cane, I feel clever for that huhhuhuhuu

Their names or cutiemarks are kinda supposed to counter their personalities, like how Peppermint is a very high-energy, bubbly, sweet dumdum, while Lime’s a quiet, stubborn sourpuss. They’re total contrasts of one another, yet their friendship just somehow works. (It even has Twilight confused ;w; )

Peppermint is a male, while Lime is undefined. Pepper uses neutral pronouns for them, but it’s pretty clear that Lime doesn’t mind either he, she or they.

Backstories and such are coming soon, right now these two are still in their visual design-stage of development. I’m thinking Lime is either a Shetland pony or a Fjord, while Pepper’s a Warlander.

I’ve got some basic ideas for their story but I’ll write that down another time.
