The day Princess Skyla Star earned her cutie mark.

    Earning it late, the catalyst was when news broke out that somepony’s young filly had gone missing, pushing past the forcefield and walking out into the Frozen North.

After convincing Flurry Heart to cover for her, Skyla decided to track down the kid herself. After quickly following the tracks in the snow, she found the foal, named Ruby, and shielded her from the icy winds while escorting her home.

    After reuniting the foal with her mother, Skyla earned her mark, cementing her talent in the protection and defense of others. Following this, she started training in the royal guard full-time as opposed to princess training in order to make sure she is always ready to defend.
