Description:
Wallflower Blush walked into the office one day, hoping that her shirt would hold out for one more day. She had plans to go shopping later and get some new clothing for her new figure. Most of her clothes were still leftover from her High School days. At her new job the policy was to cover up legs, arms, shoulders, and the belly because they did not want anything “distracting.” She sat down in the chair with her shirt barely holding on and covering her belly. She prayed that it would hold on for just another few hours. As she worked away she could feel her shirt slowly slipping up her belly. Then when it was time for lunch, she got up hoping that she could get to the lunchroom without anyone seeing her belly and reporting on her. Before she could take even three steps away from her seat one of her coworkers, a woman, walked by stopping when she caught sight of Wallflower’s belly out of the corner of her eye. Wallflower knew her, because they had become friends over the last several months.
Wallflower got nervous. She placed one hand under her belly, and held her arm with the other. “Uuuuhhhhh.”
“It’s okay.” said the woman. “I won’t tell the manager. In fact I might be able to help you with this.”
“Really?” said Wallflower.
“Yes. Just wait here. I have a large shirt from when I was expecting and still working.” she answered.
Wallflower smiled. “Thank you.”
Friendship really was one of the best things ever.
