Personality/Background

Daughter of Fluttershy and Big Macintosh, Ambrosia is an Earth pony with a gentle heart and strong hooves. She’s sweet and unfortunately very clumsy, often underestimating her own size when she’s trying to do something. Her special talent involves grafting and caring for apple trees (much to MacIntosh’s delight), and she lives and works on the Apple farm alongside her father and her aunties to care for the trees. Ambrosia inherited Big Mac’s powerful build and while she’s very skilled at bucking apple trees, she prefers to spend her time cultivating them and developing new ways to grow apples.

Relationships

Ambrosia has a strong bond with both of her parents, as both of them dote on their only daughter. She learned a lot about how to handle her own strength from Big Macintosh and learned more about interacting with the farm animals from Fluttershy. Ambrosia loves all of her family and has a lot of opportunities to spend time to them while working on the farm. She loves her sister Jazz, and Jazz makes a show of simply tolerating her. Deep down, though, Jazz would defend her little sister from anything.  

Ambrosia is good friends with Cloudy Skies and enjoys spending a lot of time with him, and the two may have dated for a brief period before separating and deciding to stay as just friends. Their easy-going personalities tend to gel pretty well together, and Cloudy will often spend time just chatting with Ambrosia as she works on the farm.

Extras

While Ambrosia’s talent primarily involves apples, she secretly has spent time working on grafting pear trees and developing pear-related desserts and dishes. She doesn’t know that Big Mac knows about her hobbies and supports her, though.

Despite being an absolute unit, Ambrosia is terrified of spiders and will do everything in her power to avoid them, often calling in a frustrated Jazz Apple to take care of it.
