This is my submission for MLP-ATG-Alumni’s Week 359 Theme, An Authentic Pony / A Pony From the Past. This is not actually finished as of yet, but time grows short. I’ll be updating this with the completed version within the next couple of days.There’s a theory out there that Pacific Glow is actually the escaped Pinkie clone that appears in the same episode. I find it highly unlikely that this would be canon, as the Pinkie clone is likely nothing more than a sight gag, and Pacific Glow has several design differences from Pinkie Pie, as you can see when they appear together. Nonetheless, I do find the idea intriguing, and it does fit both halves of the theme; Pinkie herself being ‘Authentic’ and the possible clone being From Pinkie’s Past.

I’m starting up a new round of style experimentations, so don’t be surprised to see various ideas being tested out over the next few months or so.
