AU where Twilight is adopted and raised by Princess Celestia. She’s very sophisticated, social, and well educated in high magic, essentially what anyone would think of a filly raised by Celestia herself. Unfortunately, she is very aware of how…fake it all is. Her mother is the only genuine pony she knows, while all others around her only care about her status. They don’t care about her.

Then she’s forced to go to Ponyville, meets the gang, and realizes what it’s like to have ponies in her life who see past her tiara. 

idk I’m pretty sure this has all been done 100x over, but I love the idea.
