(More time passes and Sugar Belle is finally passed her due date and in the hospital attempting to induce labor)

Mac: Did it always take this long for ya?

Sugar: Not really, Banner took the longest to come out, but even he was born within a few days of his due date. This ones just being stubborn; Already taking after you, Big Mac! [*laughs, rubbing her belly*]

Mac: [*chuckles and lays his head down on the bed beside her*] Ah’m sure it won’t be much longer.

(Almost 3 days pass again before Sugar Belle finally goes into labor)

Doctor: Aright Mrs. Belle, one more big push and you’re done, let’s bring this baby into the world, ready?

Sugar: [*huffing but finding herself laughing*] Come on, I’m a pro at this! [*braces herself and with a final push and a yowl of pain, the baby foal was born*]

Doctor: It’s a girl! A beautiful, healthy baby girl!

Sugar: Oh.. [*smiles hearing her baby start crying*] A girl.. I have a daughter! Big Mac.. it’s, she’s a girl!

Mac: [*Big Mac stares at his newborn daughter and tears instantly start forming in his eyes*] You have a little sister.. Gala. She’s here.

Sugar: I’m sure she’s watching right now, Big Mac.. So proud of you.

Mac: No, proud of you. [*he kisses Sugar Belle on the forehead and the Doctor turns back to them, finished cleaning the baby off*]

Doctor: Here she is, your new pride and joy. [*hands her to Sugar Belle*]

Sugar: She’s perfect.. look at her.

Mac: Beautiful.. Like her mamma.. What should we name her?

Sugar: … How about Ambrosia? She’s both part of the Apple family and mine.. Ambrosia sounds nice. What do you think?

Mac: Ambrosia? … Ambrosia Sweet Apple.

Sugar: I like that! [*smiles and kisses her daughter on the head*] Welcome to the world Ambrosia.. There are a lot of ponies who are waiting to meet you.

(Later that night when Sugar Belle and Big Mac are catching up on some sleep, Ambrosia is in a crib staring at the ceiling, cooeing as babies do, when suddenly a light appears in front of the rim of the crib)

Gala: [*appears before the crib and looks inside it, smiling*] Hi there.. It’s nice to meet you finally. You took longer to come out than expected. I’m Gala Blossom, I’m your big sister!

Ambrosia: [*giggles a bit and reaches out with her little hooves towards Gala's spirit, staring at the ring above her head*]

Gala: What? This? [*points up*] That’s just my halo. You see, I’m not like you, or your mom and dad… I’m not exactly with you right now. I know you don’t understand this right now, but someday you will. And I’ll be right beside you the entire time. I’ve been appointed your Guardian Angel. Isn’t that nice? [*reaches her hoof into the crib, knowing full well the baby couldn't grab hold of her*]

You’re beautiful.. Ambrosia. I can’t wait to get to know you better.
