Rarity tapped a hoof as she waited for Emerald Luster’s transformation. She had stuffed her in one of the drawers in case anyone came by. Someone did come by – that brown earthpony stallion. She had to drain him and stuff him in a drawer too.

She was going to leave that lout in there for some time, the way he handled her fabulous remains like it was some common trash bag! Had he no respect for the dead? Hmph!

There was a banging coming from inside the drawer. Rarity smiled and pulled it open and helped Emerald Luster rise from the cold metal surface.

“Where do we start?” Emerald asked.

“The patients. The dying ones first…” Rarity said, adjusting the patient gown.

“The dying?”

“Trust me, darling.” Rarity winked. “I’m a vampony.”
