Description:

Mr. Driver, release the TELOLET for us!! XDFor those of you don’t know, “Telolet” is a term we used to describe a very funny bus horn sound, usually found in tourist buses in Indonesia. This trend has become very popular in the country especially for bus enthusiasts. In this trend, a bunch of kids, especially in Java, are standing on the side of a busy road waiting for buses to pass them so that they can listen or even record the sound of the telolet horn. If they sees a bus coming, they will hold a sign saying “Om! Telolet Om!” (which literally means “Uncle/Mr. Driver! Telolet Please!”) as a request for the bus driver to release the horn sound. The driver will then make this “TE-LO-LET” horn sound, hence the name “telolet”.This telolet-hunting trend has created a very unique and unusual community in many parts of the country, where a group of people likes to “hunt” this funny bus horn. It may sounds rather weird, but it’s funny!Until recently, the “Om Telolet Om!” trend suddenly spreaded like wildfires across many social medias in Indonesia, and eventually to other parts of the world as well. Unusually, it attracted many top DJs from across the worlds such as Zedd, Martin Garrix, Hardwell, The Chainsmokers, etc. Some of them even make a telolet remix, and some of them were wondering what the hell is this ****Mane 6 vector source: jlryan (jlryan.deviantart.com)The background photo is my own photo, taken using Samsung Galaxy J5.****Created using: Microsoft PowerPoint 2013Date of creation: December 21, 2016
