week 146 of .  theme was to draw a pony from a previous generation.So seeing as I have only minimal knowledge about the ponies from the previous generations, I ended up going on a bit of a quest to find one that had a really good design and deserved to have more fanart.  I was gonna try to draw ‘em in a G1 style to broaden myself a bit but I just kinda thought about how fun it’d be to take a pony that hasn’t had much / any G4-style art at all and give it some.  I found many interesting ones that would look great in a G4 style like Minty and Toola Roola, but it was the awesome name and sweet look of Starsong here that took the cake.I got the wonderful mane/tail design from , via this piece here: fav.me/d3ex7sl — one of the only G4-style Starsongs ever drawn, and way back in early ’11 when the show was still in its first season!  It feels good to remedy that a bit.
