I think it’s clear what I’ve done here, but basically I made a working “version” of the dance game from Viva Las Pegasus, right down to the X’s (okay, actually, just the arrows. Or the “noteskin”, as they are more commonly known).
Download linked in source, although it requires the new alpha version of StepMania to use (i.e. it doesn’t yet work on the 5.0 series)
