Description:
Emerald waits for a second outside the door to hear if anything happens. No sound comes from the other door, so he turns to go back towards the dining room.
On the way he meets Joyride. She is passing by, chewing on a pancake and carrying a stack along with her magically.
“Oh hey lil’ perv. Where is Loupe?”
Emerald explains what happened, and asks if she thinks the mare is upset with her.
“Probably? How would I know? My specialty is getting people to bed and having a fun time all around. Why would I care what happens afterwards. You said she didn’t want to talk? Then don’t make her. Balls in her court now.” Joyride says with a shrug, “I think you are misunderstanding what exactly a ‘pump and dump’ is.”
Emerald frowns, but changes the subject. He asks what she thinks of Zebra religion.
“Eh. Not for me.” Joyride says simply, “I’ve heard true believers can call upon the powers of their deity and perform miraculous feats. Of course, almost all religions say that. I’ll just depend on my own power to do miracles, thank you very much.”
Emerald then asks what she is going to do if someone is really follow them.
“Kick their butts, though I really doubt anyone is following us. I have all sorts of spells and enchantments protecting us while we sleep and while we walk. It’d be pretty hard to surprise us.”
Emerald asks if maybe his amulet is doing something to prevent that stuff from working right now.
“I guess it’s a possibility? I dunno.” Joyride says with an unconcerned shrug.
Emerald asks if maybe he could learn some diabolism. He would like to talk to his amulet demons if possible.
“Ehhh…” Joyride says with a grimace while looking up and away, “I feel a bit iffy about teaching you stuff like that, and remember this is me we are talking about.”
