This one was a challenge!

“Wow, this took…so much longer than I wanted, but it was totally worth it. As I mentioned before, digital painting is still something I heavily need to work on and this was a very good practice for me. I’m quite proud of it, even though it has shifted my work from it’s usual happy tone to a melancholy one for a moment. Gotta mix it up once in a while, right?

The original thumbnail – from memory – wasn’t based off the mirror pool episode as it hadn’t even aired yet, however as I sketched it I felt basing it on that premise worked a lot nicer and I think it’s worked quite well. Hope you guys like it! And thanks for your support! <3”“
