This pegasus is made his choices, he brought himself to this point. The only mercy you can show him is a swift end.

You pull your sword from his chest and open his neck. The stallion jostles a bit but soon goes limp. you watch him bleed out for a moment, catching your breath.

What just told you that you are doing well? That wasn’t your thought.

You notice something moving on the stallion’s corpse, small black tendrils begin to emerge from his wounds. you hear a ringing in your ear followed by a head-ache.

“Are you paying attention Nadine!?”

You open your eyes to see your former captain staring you down as some of your former fellow squad-mates look at you.

This seems familiar but why would you be here?

Captain Whet stone repeats, “Are you paying attention Nadine!?”
