Description:
“She has a bright red coat and horns for digging – not just for show. I think you should know, my mamma is a Bongo!”
Inspired by one of my favorite childhood books.
On one of her exploring outings as a young blank flank filly, Nia meets Bakari. She’s never seen a Bongo or Quagga before, so she thought Bakari was some kind of boy Quagga. :XD: This also captures her hope and optimism when she first started looking for Quaggas and didn’t realize they were so rare.
