Nadine coughs up a little more blood and lays on her side. You know that if you take your sword out of her belly, that she’ll quickly bleed out.

“My name is Sunny days.”

“Oh, well I’ll put in a good word for you wherever I’m going.”

“No! You’re going to be fine, there got to be some magic or a potion or something!”

Nadine’s eyes begin to shut, “I don’t think I have enough time for that… Don’t blame yourself, you were forced into this and when you accidentally did exactly what they wanted you to do, I’m pretty sure they would want you to take the blame for it too just to absolve themselves of any guilt. I swear there is a word for this…”

She is fighting to stay awake as she continues to bleed out, you get up and look around hoping that you see something or someone who can help. What you do see is a swarm of pegasi and larger flying creatures battling a series of flashing lights that you are assuming are magical attacks coming from the unicorns. The rock that fell from the sky left enough of a hole in the arena to escape through and a lot of the arena crowd is now missing from the stands.

You look down and Nadine is still breathing. with her eyes shut. You see an uneasy smile on her face that looks almost peaceful.
