Description:
Cherry Bomber: Did I just step into a petting zoo? What in the world is this?
Hightide: What’s what?
Kite Runner: Gee wiz! Get a look at this small fry, sis! You think we aught to throw him back?
Hightide: I don’t see what the problem is.
Cherry Bomber: Hah! You’re so small!
Hightide: And? You know what they say, “Good things can come in small packages.”
Kite Runner:* giggles * I guess that’s a saying.
Cherry Bomber: Mmmm. You have a point there. I mean, bombs are a good example.
Hightide and Kite Runner: What?
Cherry Bomber: In fact. The perfect example.
Hightide: Uhm..Cher…you mean fireworks, right?
Cherry Bomber: …Same thing.
Hightide and Kite Runner look at each other with unease.
Kite Runner: A bit of an unsettling revelation from my older sister.
Hightide: Hey, at least the attentions moved off me being short.
Kite Runner: I’ll rag on you later, my little minature. But seriously, Cherry, stop hanging round in papi Ray’s shed all the time, this is starting to turn into deviant behavior.
Cherry Bomber: I’ll do what I want! And you’re the last one to talk ya twitchy zap addict!
Hightide and Kite Runner both gasp
Hightide: Wow.
Kite Runner: I’m not…Oh YEAH well you! You-I’M TELLING MOM!

The picture above isn’t really cohesive to the little story I wrote, but I wanted to put something down just for the heck of it.
So it seems after a time, I’ve gotten so used to drawing Hightide as a kid that I couldn’t picture him big anymore. So, after some brief discussion with friends, I decided to have Hightide not grow very big. He’s about the size of the average mare, same as Kite Runner. Cherry Bomber is roughly the size of the average show model stallion, though I couldn’t find a perfect reference, they seem to be at least half a head taller than mares. This is shorter than Big Mac and Dumbbell who I estimate are at least a head and a half taller. Cherry inherited Dumbbell’s bulk. Kite Runner got Dash’s speed. Hightide got all the garbage mud pony genes. Oh well.
I’m trying to change his cutie mark (again) I wasn’t overly satisfied with his old one. It did little to reflect his talent which is navigation.
Zap Addiction: Ponies who get a thrill from being struck or at least nearly struck by lightning. Meaning they will purposefully fly during thunder storms or create their own storm clouds, either for the adrenaline rush or other more unscrupulous sensations. Of course this is almost exclusively a pegasus issue.
