You wake up with a feeling of urgency. Max is still sleeping next to you. The light under the doorway is dim but you don’t feel like you can go back to sleep. You’ve got this nervous energy, if someone asked you to explain it, you really couldn’t describe it past that.
You hear the wind pick up outside…
It’s going to be one of those kind of days.
You can tell just by the scent in the air that there will be a storm. And this close to the mountains in the fall doesn’t mean the rain will be warm…
