Description:
Silence.
That is all that was heard in the crystal castle. Outside the halls and inside the bedroom where Shining Armor slept with his beloved Cadence. The two slept in their undergarments. His briefs-clad, toned body up against her perfect form.
Suddenly Shining Armor’s eyes popped open at the sound of a voice in his head. “Help me!” It said in a frightened voice… twilight’s voice.
Though the voice was in his head, his brain deduced that the sound was coming from the balcony. Cadence was still fast asleep. She was known for being a deep sleeper. It would take an earthquake to wake the girl up.
Shining Armor got out of bed, not even getting dressed as his hooves tapped on the crystal floor toward the door. The voice sounding more distraught.
“Please help me, big brother! I… I don’t have much time!” the voice cried out in anguish.
Shining armor broke into a sprint toward the balcony. The carpet barely muffling his hoofsteps. His training kept him from tripping and face-planting on the velvet rug on his way to the source.
All he could hear now is his sister’s heartwrenching weeping. Finally he arrived at the door to the balcony and smashed them open with a strong shoulder charge. He looked around, but saw nobody… just the skyline of the crystal city…
He stood puzzled for a moment. Was this all some kind of nightmare? Had he lost his mind to his sister’s disappearance two months ago? He calmed himself and sighed… turning around to see a figure in a burlap robe that had not been there before.
“Who are you?” he asked.
The figure said nothing, there were only soft hoofsteps stepping toward the guard captain. He readied his fists to strike him… her…. it… he couldn’t tell from the hood.
The figure brushed passed him and walked to the balcony. Taking off it’s hood to reveal a familiar mane of violet and indigo… and a large lavender horn.
“Twily? Is that you? What happened?” Shining armor asked his sister.
She gave no answer. She just looked over the skyline as her mane blew in the wind.
Shining armor was apprehensive. His missing sister, who was just earlier making rather distressing sounds inside his skull, was now eerily silent and calm as if nothing happened. He moved closer.
Slowly reached out to her shoulder…
… and she spun around to look him in the eyes. Her eyes were not the typical dark purple, but blood red. Her open cloak revealing an ensemble that was not like twilight at all. This was not twilight: this was some twisted nightmare vision!
“This isn’t real, this is some kind of nightmare.” Shiny thought to himself.
“It’s not, dear brother.” Twilight answered, audibly. Her horn glowing with a strange green light. “It’s really not.”
Suddenly Shiny found his wrists forcibly pulled behind him and clamped in glowing green shackles. A coil of rope tied tightly around his knees, and manacles clamped around his ankles. Before gravity could bring the captain of the gaurd to the ground, Twilight caught him with one arm.
“Twilight! What the hell!?” he exclaimed loudly before Twilight ran a finger over his lips.
“Shhh… everything will be made crystal clear.” Twilight whispered before she sank his fangs into his squirming, helplesss kin’s neck and slowly drained the blood from him until he passed out and went limp.
“HEY! YOU!” a voice called out from the doorway.
Twilight jerked her head to see a crystal palace guard, armed with an submachine gun. It’s mounted light shining on her and her helpless prisoner.
“Put the captain down, and put your hands above your head, nice and slow!” he commanded, barrel aimed at the vampony’s head.
Twilight smirked, her horn glowing once more. A green whip materializing behind the guard and sweeping him off his hooves, forcing the weapon to fire into the air.
With the guard downed, Twilight flew off into the sky, back to the south. As she flew, she looked down at her helpless, bare-chested, toned brother in her arms. For a brief moment, she felt a pang of something…
… remorse? Curious. But this would all be for the better. She knew the secrets of the Endless Night, and how all of equestria would be united in darkness. Everypony in equestria would live forever. Equestria would descend into it’s grave only to rise again into a never ending golden age of immortality!
She pushed the useless emotions from her heart. She had work to do. She flew through the clouds to remain hidden on her way back to the brood lair.
