The tongue was low enough to the ground for the small pony to jump onto. Quickly getting on along with some grass, he laid face first on the tongue, immediately getting the front of his body covered in warm, sticky saliva.

He looked back as the tongue began to retract back into its cavernous home, lips beginning to close around him. Instantly, the temperature spiked and the humidity became slightly uncomfortable. The massive, boulder-sized teeth snapped off the grass below him, and light began coming in and out of the chamber as the giant lifted his head and started to mildly chew his meal.
The tiny pony looked ahead. Each time the cave opened up, allowing light in, he saw the glistening of saliva, strung across the back of the throat. Large drops of goo dripped onto his head, covering him in the substance, and making his mane lie flat to his head.
He made sure to stay somewhat centered on the tongue. He did not fancy being crushed to death. He hadnt been in there for more than ten second, when all motion stopped. The slowly, the room began to shift upwards. Sliding forward, the willing little meal saw the gullet inching closer. He looked back out. Light was quickly fading from the entrance as the lips closed to swallow. There was an ear-wrenching GULP, and the little meal, along with the remains of the grass was sent downward
