Hardcore is a metal singer, with a talent for screaming, by night and by day…

he teaches high school music history.

Hardcore found his special talent later than most foals his age, but his father turned him towards music when getting him to join in on his silly songs. However, getting to his more angsty age, he turned that affinity towards rougher sounds and found his special talent.

But he also grew up with a mother with a doctorate in geology, or a ‘Rocktorate’ as his Auntie Pinkie would commonly say, who would show him how learning about what you love makes it so much more special.

He shares her stoic nature when speaking of history and doing lectures.

Hardcore dyes the streaks in his hair himself.

While Hardcore likes to act tough, even pretending he loves bar fights, he lost his tooth from chewing on a rock.

Much like his mother, Hardcore doesn’t like candy, which is too much of a disappointment of his aunt.
