my entry for week 50 of the #mlp-atg-alumni group on dA. theme was to draw an underground pony.

I actually was starting to draw a ponified Monty Mole from the Mario series, but when I drew the shades I noticed a similarity to a certain character and went with it.

Some people say it should’ve been Simon, but I dunno — Kamina did this pretty literally in the very first episode, believed in doing this, and is the one that inspired Simon to do this both literally and figuratively many times. So, y’know, whatever.
