Amber: ………….. What? What’re you looking at me like that for?

Nidra: …Anthea is not a loser

Amber: Of course she’s not. I was joking around with her.

Amber: Heh, you really care about Annie don’t ‘cha?

Amber: And she’s your only real friend isn’t she?

Nidra: No! I… yeah……

Amber: She’s a genuine friend. I can imagine it’s hard to know who your real friends are when you’re royalty huh, Princess Nidra?

Nidra: You don’t even know, everypony just I-I mean, I’m not royalty! I

Amber: raises eyebrow

Nidra: ………….. how’d you know?

Amber: I’m not an idiot. Annie told me that she’d become best friends with a princess. I assumed she meant the short stack with he giant wings but they didn’t seem as close as you two. Of course, you don’t look like a princess now, but boy, you certainly act like one, sweetheart. Plus, you just admitted you are Princess Nidra which helped

Nidra: blushes

Amber: Hehe, anyways, I’m really glad Annie was able to make some good friends. At the orphanage it was just her, Hot Head, Lucky and I. I was really worried about her when she left since she was so sheltered. The poor thing was so quiet and shy and the fact that she was blind didn’t help. Little foals could be so mean and shallow sometimes; not playing with her because she couldn’t see as well as they could.

Nidra: Wow, sounds like you’re her best friend

Amber: Hmmm… Nah, I think that’s you. I’m more like….. her super awesome, really cool older sister that maaaaaaay or may not be a horrible influence on her

Nidra: giggles You’re not so bad

Amber: Heh, why do you think I’m not? Annie’s as much of a good influence on me as I am a bad influence on her. I couldn’t be happier to have Annie in my life. And you should be very happy to have a best friend like her.

Nidra: …… I am. I really am
