Dewey Decimal has always been a very neat pony. A nice, organised schedule, a neat, organised room.. she’s been that way from the time she was a foal. It’s only fitting, then, that this particular equine works himself raw keeping the library at the Canterlot Archives neat and organised. Put a book back wrong and Dewey will be all over you, giving you the chewing out of your lifetime until you wished you were deaf. She constantly mumbles to himself as she works, normally about how annoying her job is, but in truth, she loves it. Feeling the nice, soft cover of a good book is just so right to her. As such, she normally has no time for dates, but if she did, she would have to look her best. She’d wash, dry, and iron her tux at least 10 times, brush her mane at least twice as much, all that jazz. She would strive to perfection in everything she does, and that makes it hard for her to accept criticism, as she does believe she himself is perfect. Any imperfections of her partner’s would likely be pointed out along the way. That, coupled with her incessant mumbling, is enough to drive any mare or stallion away – but the bright side is, when you get dominant with her, she will immediately become submissive. She’s very coy, and detests arguments. That being said, she likely wouldn’t change easily – you’d have to be a pretty special pony for this pony to admit her faults. Given this, though, she’s also incredibly boyish. Enough so that she, many times, has been mistaken for a colt. Her only real giveaway is her eyelashes, which she curls to perfection each morning. Despite her down-to-earth type of attitude, she’s incredibly into the fantasy genre, and longs to meet one of those fantastical creatures in her books. And on top of that, it seems like the only thing not neat about her is her mane – no matter what she does, she just can’t manage to keep it from curling right back up.
