Personaly I think Daring Do would have connections within the Equestrian Royal Navy, and thus have access to military grade equipment, like this re-breather and special hoof flippers that let the wearer walk on land without the need to remove them. Also a spear gun designed for use by a pony helps deal with hostile wild life and the occasional enemy diver.
