‘This happens before season 4. Twilight goes to visit Cadance at the Crystal Empire while Shining is out in Equestria on business. Unknown to them, something is lurking in the darkness around the crystal palace. As both of them walk into the throne room, they’re both shrouded in darkness and subdued before being knocked unconscious. A few hours later, Cadance begins to awaken as a portion of the headgear is strapped onto her, a groan of protest leaving her then-gagged mouth. It looked like more was going to be added, but the process suddenly stops. She’s then lifted up by what appears to be a magical aura and moved from where she was to a sitting position on top of what feels like a mound of crystals. Suddenly, two bright spotlights turns on above her, blinding her momentarily. As her eyes dilate to the light, she is immediately greeted by an image that both shocks her, as well as sending a bolt of panic into her. Her sister-in-law sitting across from her in a similar predicament, but she’s already received the full treatment. The only thing not covered by the suit being two pleading eyes looking to her, a similar worried look written on them. The only thought in both of their minds: What’s going to happen next?’
