Individual parts that actually involve origami:

Scrolls – each scroll is one square of 12” gold origami foil, meaning the parchment, band, and insignia thingy are all incorporated into one sheet of paper. I thought the color change turned out quite well and the scroll locks into a roll with two tabs that tuck into the band. It has been diagrammed by Houndread here: fav.me/d70d4dk

Inkwell – A relatively simple design with twisty pleats for the neck and a folded over edge for the lip. The cylindrical shape features 7 edges.
