Curiosity eventually got the better of James. The psychological shocks ebbed, curiosity crept in. How fast could this pegasus body even go? As it turns out, pretty goddamn fast. Not nearly as fast as a well-known rainbow-maned mare from that cartoon, but its right up there.

The turbulent air in his wake knocked down his radar gun when he zipped by it.

Too bad his old radar gun had a firmware update that reset its measurement system to metric.
