Rise of the Wild Hunt

Set between the end of Season 8 and the start of Season 9 Rise of the Wild Hunt follows the story of a group of six ponies from Evervalley who find themselves stuck in Equestria.

Evervalley is very similar to Equestrian with one key difference, there is much more wild magic within Evervalley. That magic is unbound and unrestricted and flows throughout the entire valley. On some nights that magic solidifies into a spirit of harmony, an incredibly dangerous entity that embodies an aspect of Evervalleyian harmony.

The Wild Hunt is the natural counterbalance to these spirits. During the nights after the spirits manifest, the hunters bodies shift to their hunter modes where they can pursue the spirit. Each hunter embodies an aspect of harmony much like the spirits, only the hunter that matches the spirits aspect can subdue them.

Once the hunters have figured out which of them can subdue the spirits, that hunter will then approach the spirit. The spirits inherently recognise their aspect of harmony within the hunter and become content, dispersing back into the magic that created them which is then absorbed into the hunter, when the sun rises and the hunters forms revert to normal the absorbed magic is returned to the valley.
