I am often kind of "Twilighting" when I draw. I tend to use up about as much eraser as pencil and am mentally more of a perfectionist than my hitherto practice warrants. Therefore I sometimes use a marker pen without any preparatory drawing. That way I deny myself the option of correcting anything and instead have to commit to every stroke and every mistake I make, having to go with whatever comes up.
