So this was really a silly thing to do, but it worked out. :D I wanted to test my mini-beanie pattern, so I decided to make a Celestia. But I am out of normal white minky. But I have this sort of... Chinese knock-off minky (well, all minky comes from China, but this was bought direct from Hong Kong, and it's different from normal minky.) But in addition to being longer and fluffier than normal minky, it's also waaaaaaaay stretchier.

Which means this wasn't actually a test, because the stretch makes the end result shaped differently than it would be with non-stretchy minky. So I have to make another one. I'm thinking of doing a Fluttershy and putting a squeaker in her. I also think I might do button eyes, the little black eyes are cute, but buttons might be cuter. Only I'm out of pink minky for her hair, and my usual minky source is out of stock of like... everything right now. sigh So maybe not a Fluttershy. Or maybe I'll wait and make one later, I dunno.

I was planning to sell this one, but my husband has claimed it as his. XD It's sitting on top of his monitor. She makes a very good monitor sitter.
