Hello everyone.
Today I would like to show you a new character, half pony, half snake, from the sea theme towards Mount Eris and Sequestria, the place where hippogriffs live.
I spent a lot of time and effort drawing this character, I decided to test my skills by drawing someone who wasn't a pony, and it seems to have worked out.
I decided to name the character after Davey Jones's love interest from the pirate movie, Calypsa, (not O) and I think it fits her perfectly.
The inspiration was none other than the Gorgon Medusa herself, but my version doesn't turn living beings into stone. As for her abilities, she will resemble Ursula from the Disney animated film "The Little Mermaid," with a trident and dark sea magic.
The most I've struggled with is the hair. Initially, I intended to give her snakes on her head, like the canonical Gorgon, but then I thought of a different way to do it, so that it's not the heads of snakes on her head, but the TAILS of snakes, which will extend at her will and be used as tentacles, in addition to the writhing body, powerful rattlesnake tail, sharp claws, trident and sea magic.
