Vancoufur takes place in a region where many film and television series are produced. In recent years, one of the most popular of these productions has been the latest generation of My Little Pony. Naturally, this means that the locality is home to a sizable population of the television series’ legion of adult male fans, the Bronies.

This year at VancouFur, that fan base manifested itself through a new visibility when  frysco/Rainbow Dash and  gilda debuted in fursuit form. On Saturday afternoon, after the Fursuit Parade, they posed together with mutual friend  aphinity/Ioco out on the hotel patio, who did his best to keep the two friendly rivals appeased.
