Shadow Star arrived at the Isle of Scaly with her army of Dragoni and hybrids. Flurry Heart and the Resistance try to defend but are defeated. The dragons were captured and held down to the ground, and Shadow battled the two alicorns and captured them.

“At last, the two of you have now been dealt with,” she chuckled.”

Then Spike and Discord were gonna stop her, as Spike tried to reason with her. “Sunny,” said Spike. “Please don’t do this. Clipso’s power is clouding your mind. Don’t make Discord do something stupid.”

“Hey, I’m not that stupid.” Discord recalled. “Well only go crazy with chaos.” As he ready to snap his finger. “I know it won’t work on you, but I can make other friends more chaotic.”

Shadow knows and smiles sinisterly. “Alright, but before you do anything, I would like you to meet my new old friends.”

She revealed to them the new hybrid dragoni. Discord sees Dragoni Fluttershy alive. “Discord,” said Fluttershy. “My old friend. How long has it been?”

Discord feels she’s alive but knows she’s not real. “Yeah, not happening.” As he looked away. “I know the real Fluttershy who understood kindness. Right, Spike?” He saw Spike staring at two hybrids who almost looked familiar.

Spike was literally seeing something he had never felt for moons ago. Rarity and Smolder, now dragoni, were happy to see him. “Rarity…. Smolder…” He said, surprisingly.

“Spikey-Wikey,” Rarity said, nicely. “I have finally seen you again. You have grown.” Being generous as she touched his snout.

He has almost fallen into her generosity but regains sense by backing off and knows they’re not real. Spike wants Shadow Star to stop using their resurrected friends. “Enough!!! I know they’re not real.”

“They are real, Spike.” She replied. “Smolder is real. And so is Rarity. Both of them are alive because I understand how you feel for them. So I brought them back.”

“Bring them back won’t change a thing,” Flurry shouted. “You know it, Sunny.”

“Yes of course,” said Shadow. “But what about you?”

Then two more hybrids appeared and they introduced themselves Princess Cadence and Shining Armor. Flurry was frightened, seeing them now a demon. “No…”

“My daughter,” said Cadance. “We have missed you so much. Look at you, you have grown.” She placed her claw on her sharing her love as a real mother.

“Your mother and I came back thanks to Shadow Star.” Shining added. “As you can see, we are alive and real. We may not be as ourselves but this form kept us from disappearing.” He stated. “You must let her use this gift to help us. We can heal everyponies and creatures from death.”

Flurry doesn’t want to because her real parents wouldn’t want that, as Shadow Star comforts her. “Do not be frightened. Everything will be fine if you all surrender yourself to me.”

“Never,” Spike exclaimed. “We won’t let you win. Twilight would never…”

“Twilight is the fool for abandoning us,” said Shadow Star. “If she was here, she could’ve stopped all of this. Her friendship failed us all, leaving us for nothing. But I can bring us together and restore Equestria again. And in fact, I might let you all have your free will of not being mind controlled if you do not do something bad.”

Neither of them accepted it, but Flurry did. “We’ll agree,” she shouted. All of them were shocked by what she said. “But on one condition.”

Then Shadow Star starts listening. “Go on.”

“You will only do what Twilight does.” She added. “We will help you if you must not forget the magic of friendship because it’s the only thing that you can accomplish to rule Equestria. And one more thing,” she commented. “You will use Clipso’s powers only for good. Do we have a deal?”

Shadow thought for a moment and agreed. “Deal.” As a sign of relief from Flurry. “But on one condition.” She then cast a red magic on each of them of a mark. “To ensure no one betrays me.”
