This character was my gift to her.

She loved griffons, and she loved the look of Trico from The Last Guardian. I created this character for her the way I saw her, putting my feelings and care into every detail.

But she betrayed me. After that, something inside me broke and died.

I became dependent on her. Even now, I am still ready to forgive her—if she apologizes for the hundredth time and betrays me for the hundredth time, as she always does.

All that ever mattered to me was for everything between us to remain the same: the illusion of kindness and positivity. I wanted so desperately to believe that nothing had changed.

I was willing to forget all the horror I went through just to keep being friends.

I was ready to endure any pain just to preserve the illusion that the breaking point never happened. Just to return everything to the way it was. Just to bring my mind back into balance, if that was still possible.
