This song is how I felt Applejack would approach her end, with grace, dignity, pride, and a calmness that stills an anxious heart. Set at a time where her Granny's scarf adorns her neck, and her mane and tail are flecked with grey, Applejack walks the orchard. Her family is her world and the thought of being with her loved ones again helps her overcome the grip of mortality and she allows herself to feel, in her own way, as immortal as a Princess.
