Hey everyone,
I know it's pretty quiet here in my corner of DeviantArt at present, but that's something I am hoping to change in the coming weeks- as in, it looks like I might be getting a bit more free time in the future. This will specifically mean that I will have more time to work on my characters and refine the lore for my, still unnamed, AU.
Oh, and to finally start diving into the many stacked and sealed boxes of Warhammer miniatures that have been sitting in my safe for months at this point...
And for those who care for such things, it is a large, rebuilt old steel gunsafe that I use- I bought it cheaply at an estate clearance about 25 years ago, and personally restored and upgraded it. New lining, new, better locks, and a nice coat of metallic black Hammerite paint. And it's bolted and concreted into the floor of my house.
No, I don't own firearms, and by law, neither am I allowed to do so- which is probably for the best in my particular case.
But, I digress.
Here's a redux of Alabaster Hush- and it's more of a simple refinement of her design than anything else. Gods above, I adore this tall and slim librarian!
For those who haven't seen her before, as the title suggests, she is always grateful for any help or gifts given to her. Heck, she's grateful for simple company, even if no words are spoken. And of course, as a librarian, she is grateful also to those who abide by the rules of her library.
Conversely, she wholeheartedly believes that there is a special layer of Tartarus that is reserved specifically for those who intentionally disrespect books, or for those who are loud and obnoxious in a library. These people, whether pony or not, will be treated with absolute disdain and utter contempt by this surprisingly powerful unicorn.
She's a true child of Trottingham, and has an accent equivalent to that of someone from the rural parts of Dorset in the UK, which she gets from her parents and her large extended family- most of whom are earth pony farmers.
