A Drawing I made for #FriendshipGames2025 collab. Should have posted it on September 26 but was away for couple days.
...With a terrifying crack, the fabric of reality tore apart, and another portal burst open in the sky above the schoolyard, ready to devour forever anything that slipped into its insatiable maw! Sunset, in desperation, snatched from the ground the mysterious artifact cast aside by the dark sorceress and reached for the faint sparks of magic still flickering within her soul... Almost at once, she felt a force surging through her—a power so achingly familiar from her past life! A blinding flash, a rush of sublime unity with something vast and unfathomably mighty—and the next moment she found herself, without knowing how, suspended in the air, face to face with the terrifying villainess!
“I will stop you, no matter the cost!” cried the fire-haired beauty, blazing with the radiant light of justice, as she leveled an accusing finger at her foe—who, in that instant, seemed like the very heart of interdimensional darkness, a black star burning against the ominous amber veil of sunset!
“Ha-ha-ha!” Twilight Sparkle burst into a peal of wicked laughter, momentarily pausing her destruction of the schoolyard. “You don’t stand a chance!”
But then her eyes narrowed as she finally recognized who stood before her. She fixed the radiant sorceress with a studying gaze—so sharp and invasive that a chill ran down Sunset’s spine.
“On second thought...” she drawled, licking her lips with predatory relish, “this question certainly deserves... closer examination.”
In a blur of motion, the villainess closed the distance and seized Sunset’s wrist in an iron grip.
“Let’s continue our Games of Friendship somewhere a bit more private!”
Before Sunset could protest, she was pulled into another portal, which collapsed a moment later, leaving all witnesses blinking in stunned disbelief. Fortunately, with the disappearance of the dark sorceress, the other rifts in space closed on their own, leaving only a monstrous mess as a reminder of the near-catastrophe.
Three days later, when no one still expected their return, both girls appeared at school as if nothing had happened. And to every question about what had occurred during their mysterious disappearance, they only looked away awkwardly and remained silent, announcing only that they were now friends—and that Twilight would be studying with them from now on.
