Description:
Magic Horse doing Magic Horse Things (Yes, that is the title)
Tin Shot wasn't a stranger to odd things, having just survived the initial fall of Equestria some years ago. She had seen plenty of stuff, ranging from the crazy all the way to the deranged. Her little expedition to gather medical supplies from a fallen town went as well as it could, but nevertheless, she still persisted on with her life.
As she made her way through the dense forest to avoid capture, she had stumbled upon something... odd, per se. She paused for a moment, keeping some distance from the creature that had appeared from literally nowhere. Tin Shot crawled lowly towards a rather large tree, deciding to spy on the being and taking note of what she saw.
It wore some sort of clothing and a helmet, but it blended in with its forestry surroundings. It held something in its hooves that seemed similar to a metal stick, but it was blunt and she couldn't see much danger from it. Looking towards its face, she could tell that the creature was in a panic.
"H-Hello?! Anyone there?!" the creature called out, but there was no answer.
The creature tried again, more desperate this time. "Hello?! Is... Is anyone out there?!" Again, nothing in response. She heard it mutter under its breath, but not loud enough to hear what it said.
She could answer back, yes, but she chose not to as to avoid confrontation. The last thing she needed was some tall abomination attacking her on site. Tin Shot decided that it'd be best if the more combat-experienced mares and stallions at her camp could handle it.
She crawled away from the creature, keeping her steps slow and cautious. Any sort of noise could alert the stranger and Tin Shot would rather be back at home before-
Growling... she heard growling. Tin Shot immediately tensed up and reached for her dagger with her mouth, holding it tightly as she scanned the area around her. Nothing, nothing, and... there! Right there, she could see a couple of timberwolves surrounding the stranger, their teeth bared whilst the stranger aimed its odd metal stick at them.
Poor stranger, she thought, and it had to be those timberwolves as well.
She knew that the strange creature had no chance of survival, especially with it being surrounded and outnumbered. She could always lend a hoof, but those times have passed. Better to just leave and live another day than helping somepony you don't know and possibly dying in the process.
Before she could get any further, she heard the sound of thunder cracking through the forest atmosphere.
BANG, BANG, BANG!
Tin Shot immediately hugged the ground beneath her, covering her head with her hooves as the thunderous noise continued. Her ears ringed painfully and she tried her best to cover them up, lest the onslaught of thunder made her deaf. She could hear the blood-curdling howls of the mutated timberwolves as with each sound of lightning, those same howls lessened.
BANG, BANG, click-click-click.
Eventually, it ended. As quick as it came, the forest returned to silence once more. However, this silence was different. She couldn't hear the bugs or the roaming animals anymore, and that made Tin Shot even more nervous than before.
Slowly, she removed her hooves from her head and stood up from her position, her eyes looking around. She couldn't see the mutated timberwolves no longer, as if they'd had just ran away. That should be impossible, she thought, those timberwolves were mutated... they never run away!
That sent shivers down her spine, the thought of heading back to camp as quick as possible appealing to her even more. Just as she was just about to move away, she paused as she realized something: where was the stranger?
Snap!
Tin Shot immediately turned around, dagger still in her mouth. Her eyes landed on a familiar figure and she slowly looked up towards its face.
Oh... that's where it was...
The stranger had somehow snuck up behind Tin Shot, standing in equal shock. Its eyes stared at her own, occasionally darting from the dagger in her mouth before back to her. Its strange, blunt, metal thing was aiming right at her, tad bits of smoke coming out of its hole at the end. She could feel a bead of sweat running down her head as she stood there, unsure of what to do.
Tin Shot went to open her mouth to speak when suddenly-
BANG!
Her eyes widened and a flash pain erupted at her cheek. She dropped the dagger to the ground and her hooves frantically went to where the pain was. She gave it a few testing touches and pulled her hoof away, seeing spots of blood on it. Her eyes darted towards the stranger and realization struck: it tried to kill her.
Knowing her life was now in danger, she did what was necessary. Tin Shot dropped to the ground and, using all of her strength, she lunged at the being, catching it off guard. She struck it hard, hearing it drop its metal stick thingy and crashing onto a nearby tree with a thud. Her horn flared with unstable magic and she picked up her dagger.
Rushing towards the stranger before it could recover, she forced a hoof onto it before shoving the dagger near his neck. Her fear, panic, and anger clouded her mind as she glared aggressively at it.
With a commanding voice, she finally responded to the stranger.
Hi! It's me again, Flowbux. Sorry for disappearing for a long time, I was occupied with some other stuff. I finally finished this piece after holding it off for months on end and, well, this is the finishing thing.
The pony isn't mine, but they do belong to another fellow. I think their username is SilverSpirit76? I'm not exactly sure, but it's along those lines. If they see this and they recognize the pony, I'm over here if they want to talk.
Anyways, have a good day! Maybe I'll post another drawing in... uh... 9 months time?
Yeah, as mentioned before, the pony ain't mine. She goes by Tin Shot and I'm pretty sure the lass belongs to SilverSpirit76. I'm not exactly well-versed in the unwritten rules regarding to stuff like this, but I am available to be contacted if they ever want this taken down or something along the lines. I just really liked her design and, y'know, just wanted to draw her.
Oh, and... uh... if you do click on the OC tag, fair warning: you'll see some stuff.
