AU Redesign - Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo
Last two main members of the Cutiemark Crusaders! which I now remember I used to ship and I don't know if I should go back to that philosophy bc BOI was I in love with them--
Anyways! On with the headcanons :3

Sweetie Belle mirrors the exact physical traits of her older sister Rarity, and has all the ideal features of a purebred Unicorn: long white fur (that will get darker with age, on the legs), leonine tail and slim figure (though slightly sturdier legs). Contrarily to Rarity, however, Sweetie doesn't bother trimming the long fur growing on her chin and fetlocks, and so sports the typical Unicorn "beard". The latter, together with her curved profile and velvety horn, contributes to an overall effortless elegance that few foals her age possess.

Scootaloo is the shortest of the Crusaders and appears rather small even when compared to the average Pegasus filly. She has a square, straight muzzle that, combined with her short legs and body, really gives an idea of "compactness" when you look at her. Though this isn't too atypical for Pegasi (ideal size, weight distribution, etc. for flight purposes), what is peculiar about her is her apparent inability to lift herself off the ground. Though she can walk on clouds and channel magic through her wings, it seems that her wings never fully developed when she was still in the womb. For this reason, she can only use them to increase her speed when running; for very short and low flights; or for brief bursts upward (think of mostly terrestrial birds such as chickens or peacocks).

The Crusaders are fully redesigned now! There are still a couple newer changes to their appearance - for example, I had marked Scoots' wing type as that of a swan, but I later decided to rewrite it as that of a hummingbird, though it's not visible here yet lol - and as for both her and Sweetie Belle, I have also added a couple leg markings just to better blend them into the semi-realistic ensemble of my AU heh
