Ask-Pink-Pony: The Journey of a Pink Pony #93

Chapter 3: 2016-2025, 50 pages.

From this point on, I'll be changing the style of these pages to more suit my personal strengths. For too long I've forced myself to do what I thought was correct--to strictly follow the definition of how a comic should look, or how a finished piece of art should look. I am not good enough to naturally meet those goals, so it's time for me to move the goal posts. Future pages may simply be "sketches", finished without colour (which I've done before out of necessity), or maybe even text-based; but by focusing on my strengths and limiting the amount I force on myself (though I will inevitably push myself harder as time goes on, like it or not), I'm hoping the creation process will be both faster and more enjoyable for me.

I've said it before, but I'll say it again: this is literally the beginning of the story. Everything up to this point was the prologue; the preamble. That is a problem, because at this rate I'll die of old age before I finish the story, and I won't have had time to do things I care more about in my life. This has been a labour, and the love ended a long time ago, but I'm compelled to finish what I started, like it or not. So however I decide to continue this, I hope you'll look forward to Chapter 4: The Return of a Pink Pony.

(PS. I'm not going to be uploading to Tumblr anymore as viewership there has hit rock bottom, and it isn't worth my time. The comic will continue to be uploaded on DA and Derpibooru.)
