Jasper: Paige, I'm doing this for her own protection. If she continues to try to twist my arm about this, I'm afraid I'm going to have to show some tough love. It might do her some good not to always get her way, and that there are consequences when she decides to act certain ways.
Paige: Maybe so, but that should never overshadow her concerns about feeling safe in her own home... It gives the impression her father doesn't even care.
After slamming the door to Jasper's office, the frustrated maid stomped and grumbled her way down the long corridors and hallways back towards Rosalind's bedroom.
Paige (Panel 4): Ugh that stallion is so insufferable at times! He's just as bad as his brother! A confidant, my ass! He's only saying that because they are sleeping together! Once again, only thinking with the wrong head!
Page (Panel 5): I've only ever been looking out for Rosalind's best interest! Someone had too, it's not like Jasper or Starling ever had the time for her. What am I saying? That horrible mare never accepted Rose as her own. I've been here through the adultery and scandals! I've been here through that disaster of a divorce! I've been the keeper of this family's cursed secrets, all for Rosalind's sake!
Paige (Panel 6): But nooOOOoo! I couldn't possibly know what is best?! It's not like I know her better then that bastard ever will! Ugh... I need a vacation...
