Fluttershy has met the High Evolutionary, a humanoid who's committed many to such monstrous torture in experiments for perfection including Rocket. Boy, she is mad with him; especially because he's torn apart many families, biological and spiritual, against their choices as many remember when he slew Rocket's pals and mocked his grief.
The High Evolutionary sees Fluttershy as a primitive, and also mad to be concerned about lower forms zero her species. But he is yet to learn the hard way how this pony is a fierce protector of the animal kingdom.
